ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Receptionist to join The Wellington Hospital. This role is vital in the delivery of a first-class reception and switchboard service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Meeting and greeting patients and visitors
• Co-ordinate deliveries and couriers., and the logging of deliveries/post
• Control of car park out of hours
• To provide a pleasant and efficient telephone service for patients, doctors, visitors, staff and any other callers
• To direct in a pleasant manner all visitors, staff and doctors to the correct departments
• To operate the switchboard efficiently, providing a prompt and courteous service
• Monitor the hospital emergency response systems and take necessary actions
