WEEKEND SALES ASSOCIATE - WEDDING AND EVENT STATIONERY SHOWROOM

Location: Ido Ido - Parklea Markets
Hours: Saturdays and Sundays, 8 am-5 pm

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Weekend Sales Associate to join our showroom team and help our customers find the perfect stationery.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Weekend Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean, welcoming showroom environment. Your primary goal will be to assist customers in selecting customised stationery, and ensure the showroom is always in pristine condition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous retail or sales experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Passion for weddings/events and an understanding of the industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to close sales
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build ongoing rapport with clientele

Responsibilities
  • Sales: Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide personalised recommendations, and drive sales of wedding and event stationery and other related products.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by offering a warm, friendly experience and assisting customers through every step of their purchasing journey.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised showroom, ensuring product displays are neat, invitations are well-stocked, and the store is ready for customers at all times.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product offerings, trends in stationery, and promotions to provide customers with accurate and relevant information.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the showroom team to ensure smooth operations and a positive environment for both customers and colleagues.
