ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a weekend Social Media Coordinator to support the Social Media Executive & Marketing Manager in the execution of social media and TikTok activities during the weekend. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, creative, and passionate about social media and the beauty industry. The Social Media Coordinator will play a key role in content creation, TikTok Lives and community engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation & Social Media Management:

• Post and schedule daily content across social media channels over the weekend.
• Help manage Instagram Stories, Reels, Pinterest, TikTok videos, and YouTube Shorts, ensuring regular engagement.

Community Engagement:

• Monitor and respond to all comments, messages, and interactions to build relationships with our audience.
• Assist in identifying and engaging with up-and-coming influencers and brand advocates.

Engage with the Audience:

• Respond to Comments: Interact with viewers in the comments to build a community and increase engagement.
• Host Live Streams: Go live to interact directly with your audience, answer questions, or host Q&A sessions.
• Create Polls and Questions: Use interactive tools on TikTok to engage the audience, ask for opinions, or gather feedback.
• Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure the tone, style, and message of videos align with personal or brand goals.
• Promote Viewer Participation: Encourage audience participation, such as recreating challenges, commenting, or sharing videos.
• Monitor Platform Changes: Stay updated on TikTok algorithm changes, new features, and content guidelines.
• Keep Up with Industry Trends: Follow trends in social media, influencer marketing, and entertainment to remain competitive.
• Maintain Professionalism: Uphold personal values and professionalism in all interactions, both online and offline.

General Support:

• Stay up to date with beauty trends, emerging content formats, and social media best practices.
• Any other reasonable tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
