We are looking for a confident and friendly individual to join our team as a Part-time late afternoon/early evening Hostess/Receptionist at our tanning salon in Bournemouth (BH8).
Duties will include greeting customers, taking payment for sunbed sessions, explaining to customers how the beds work, cleaning the beds, keeping the salon clean and tidy at all times and selling tanning lotions.
Local candidates should be available to work from 3pm to 8pm Saturdays and 2.45pm till 7pm Sundays with the flexibility to work the occasional extra shifts if required.
No experience necessary as full training will be provided but experience with customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and provide them with a warm welcome
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage the salon’s calendar
- Check-in clients and update their information in the system
- Assist stylists and technicians with client needs
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in using salon software or booking systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings and extra shifts as needed
