SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic Tour Director and assistant at Study Abroad UK, located in Central England. This pivotal role will contribute significantly to our mission of changing lives and opening doors for young people through various educational programs.
£180 per day for Tour Director, £150 per day for assistant. Tours are once per month usually the 3rd Saturday in the month.

Responsibilities
  • Call the coach company to double check they have booked us in
  • Arrive promptly before the coach and tick off the participants as they board
  • Issue and monitor health and safety rules (Seat belt wearing in particular)
  • Use the microphone to explain points of interest and talk about UK culture
  • Use the microphone to talk about the visit and what you will do and see
  • Devise a timetable for the day to include an informative guided walk
  • Represent Study Abroad UK looking smartly dressed
  • Perform a guided walk in two groups, organise free time
  • Tour Director to manage the trip, write report and take group photo
  • Tour assistant to make short videos that can be upload to You Tube
  • Qualifications
  • Friendly, approachable and able to communicate with young people.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passion for international countries
  • Ability to make decisions in emergency situations
