Job description:
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused waiter/waitress to join our front-of-house team at The Castle Edge Hill. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering exceptional service.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a “can-do” attitude
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and multi-task
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Well-presented, punctual, and reliable
• A genuine interest in food, drink, and providing great service

• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and beverages to tables, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
• Maintain a clean and well-presented dining area, including resetting tables
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
• Handle customer queries or complaints professionally and promptly
• Upsell menu items and promotions when appropriate
• Process payments and handle cash/card transactions correctly
• Follow all health and safety and food hygiene procedures
• Be a positive, proactive member of the team, supporting colleagues as needed
