Warehouse Operative Duties:
With this role, you will be picking and packing different items across the warehouse, and helping to load and unload pallets and stock. There will be other general warehouse duties involved.
This is a physically demanding role as the manual handling of boxes, picking and packing of cages and the pushing and pulling of cages are also an integral part of the role. Working as part of a great team, you’ll have a good eye for detail to ensure full pick accuracy, as well as supporting our cataloguing team to ensure maximum efficiency in all aspects of the warehouse.
Reporting to the Operational Team Leaders, you will be an enthusiastic, reliable individual who is able to work alone as well as in a team and take pride in your work. Initiative, problem solving and attention to detail are critical in the success of this role.
Your role will include:
Loading and unloading of containers, stock and deliveries.
Picking orders with scanners
Packing orders with scanners
Replenishing stock locations
Ensure all health and safety regulations within the company are adhered to.
Maintaining a neat and tidy work area.
General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
