Responsibilities

Brindley Park Feedlot, conveniently located just 30 minutes from Roma, has carrying capacity of 17,000 standard cattle units, with diverse cattle types from long fed Wagyu through to mid fed export cattle and a range of feeding programs, plus development approval to double the capacity, there are plenty of growth and development opportunities to come!

Reporting to the Administration Manager, the weighbridge officer takes primary responsibility for timely and accurate processing of all weighbridge activities along with:

  • Professional liaison and communication with a range of visitors, suppliers, staff and drivers
  • Accurately and timely collection, recording & processing of data and information
  • Effective utilisation of livestock data systems (eg StockaID and FY3000 or similar)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Reporting on weighbridge activities as required
  • Providing back up support/relief to other administration team members
