Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB –

1.To provide efficient and effective weighbridge operation for the facility. Helping with Transport and Customer Service. Daily duties will include waste entry into the weighbridge system. Entries will require inputs of both hazardous and non-hazardous material inputs and the accurate completion of all associated hazardous documentation. Answering the telephone and taking orders from external customers and inputting these orders into Tegos.

2. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & DUTIES:

i Ensure Waste Acceptance Criteria is adhered to at all times
ii Meeting and greeting both internal and external clients, contractors and visitors to the site
iii Efficiently input data onto the weighbridge from vehicles collecting/delivering to the site
iv To answer all incoming calls and deal with appropriately
v Scanning, filing, emailing documents to customers
vi To undertake other weighbridge/administration duties the site manage may reasonably expect
vii Raising of purchase/sales orders including adding documents and recording received goods/services ix Resolving all invoice/purchase/sales order queries for the site ensuring KPI’s are met
viii Ensuring all weighbridge & customer queries are resolved and actioned
viiii Ensure all site visitors have received full Health & Safety induction and are wearing the correct PPE.
x Accurately recording orders from telephone calls or emails into Tegos (enwis, written in Microsoft Nav)
3. CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS Internal: The post holder will have regular contact with employees at all levels across the business. The contact will be in both formal and informal situations. The post holder will need to develop key relationships with the Site Manager, senior managers and other employees in the business on compliance, Training, policies, programmes and projects.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
