About You: You're a go-getter with mad juggling skills (or multiple hats) who can thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment You enjoy doing purpose-led and meaningful work You have a strong thirst for knowledge and are driven to find solutions that don't exist yet You are comfortable with ambiguity and extremely resourceful (in your past life, you could've been a detective) You always find a way to get things done without sacrificing the quality of your work, integrity, and values No task is off limits for you You are humble and prioritize the success of the team over your own with an eagerness to help those around you You don't shy away from challenges and can bounce back from setbacks What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role: Embed within product teams to deeply understand business domains and customer needs Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for wealth management products and stock trading services, then define and clarify precise requirements for tech Lead solution assessments and make go/no-go decisions aligned with business priorities Own documentation and communication of requirements between tech and business teams Create storyboards to visualize user interactions and workflows for clearer understanding Define user acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet business and user expectations Develop comprehensive UAT (User Acceptance Testing) plans, coordinate UAT execution, analyze results, and drive resolution of defects Drive accountability through reporting to product owners and clear decision-making on requirements Support continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and suggesting process enhancements Partner with PMs/Tech Leads to align project scope, timelines, and deliverables with business objectives What is required and what we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Product Manager, or similar role, preferably in banking or financial services Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both business stakeholders and technology teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Experience in defining clear requirements, user acceptance criteria, and managing end-to-end UAT processes Familiarity with agile methodologies, project management, and software development life cycle Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, and stock trading processes; familiarity with regulatory requirements in these areas is a plus Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach and customer-centric focus Fluency in English and Chinese Perks and Benefits to enrich your experience at WeLab: Learning and development stipend - we value lifelong learning and believe the best way to invest in our employees is to encourage them to continue to learn Wellness and happiness – Numerous activities to let you focus on your physical and mental wellbeing, complemented by happiness dollars (basically, an extra stipend!) to spend on anything that makes you happy. Responsibilities
