Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Randolph, NJ Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $15.50 - $16.50 Hourly Welcome Center Staff - Weekend Under the supervision of the Membership Director, this position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Welcome Center Staff at the West Morris Area YMCA are passionate and enthusiastic. They intentionally foster a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, and nurturing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Must be available to work on weekends (Saturday from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm). 2. Provides excellent customer service to members, guests, and program participants. 3. Creates a welcoming environment for all by greeting members and potential members warmly. 4. Accurately processes memberships and program enrollments. 5. Responds to inquiries accurately and thoroughly. 6. Understand and promote West Morris Area YMCA programs 7. Other duties are assigned BENEFITS: • Company participates in the Retirement Plans provided by YUSA including pension and deferred compensation • Paid time off (PTO) QUALIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS: • High School diploma or equivalent. • Ability to work additional hours (days/evenings) as needed. • Ability to speak and interact in Spanish (preferred) • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. • Customer service experience preferred. • Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software.
