Designed in collaboration with Hollywood set designers and West End theatre professionals, LaplandUK is an immersive theatrical experience on an extraordinary scale, transporting families into a world of wonder and beauty.
This award-winning production sells out within hours each year, welcoming more than 170,000 guests to its 30-acre enchanted forest each season—including famous visitors such as Elton John and members of the Royal Family.
Over the course of 4.5 hours, guests journey through five uniquely themed, interactive performances, where storytelling, character interaction, and festive magic come together to create a truly unforgettable adventure.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & REQUIREMENTS

  • A mix of indoor and outdoor work, with prolonged periods of standing
  • Highly interactive, guest-facing role requiring confident communication and a friendly approach
  • Use of technical equipment, including touchscreen tablets

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a member of our Woodland Check-in team, you’ll be one of the first friendly faces to welcome guests to Lapland, setting the stage for the magical experience that lies ahead.
Working across both our outdoor Elven Bazaar and indoor Woodland Check-in areas, this is a highly guest-facing role with plenty of interaction. You’ll play a key part in building excitement, guiding families through the check-in process, and ensuring each guest begins their journey with a smile.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a warm and memorable welcome to every guest, creating a strong and lasting first impression
  • Use our onsite system to check guests in and share important information about their visit
  • Assist late arrivals, helping them quickly and smoothly rejoin their tour
  • Deliver world-class guest service, resolving any issues on the spot — always with a sprinkle of Lapland magic!
