Job Description
Reporting to the AP House Director, the Welcome Host will be responsible for :
Welcoming customers:
- Be in charge of welcoming customers on their arrival at the AP House: accompany them to a salesperson, take them on a tour of the boutique, etc.
- Offer a catering service to all customers
- Provide a presence for customers while they wait for a salesperson: talk about the brand’s history, establish initial contact.
Telephone reception:
- Operate the switchboard and be able to take messages including all customer contact details: (name, phone number, email)
- Be in charge of transmitting messages and ensuring that they are dealt with as quickly as possible.
Ensure the smooth running of the AP House:
- Ensure proper set-up at store opening and closing
- Ensure the daily upkeep of the AP House: maintenance of the cafeteria, floor, carpeting, dust, window displays, contact with companies and ordering of necessary materials
- Maintain sales tables.
Inventory and merchandise management:
- Set-up, control, follow-up, storage, ordering and inventory of stock (catalogs, books, display materials, bags, dishes, etc.).
Qualifications
You have at least 2 years experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of the luxury goods industry is a plus.
You are recognized for your organization proactivity and concerns for quality. You have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a quality welcome for customers and develop the customer experience.
Impeccable presentation, good eloquence, ability to listen, availability and patience are qualities required for this position.
You have perfect fluency for german and english.
