Job Description As a Welcomer, you’ll be the face and heart of the guest experience — greeting every guest by name, sharing the story of our hotel, and creating moments of genuine connection. You’ll escort guests to their rooms, assist with any requests, and ensure our VIPs and loyalty members receive exceptional personalised service, including preparing welcome amenities and hosting in the Te Kaahu Lounge. You’ll work closely with your team to deliver seamless, high-quality service while maintaining immaculate grooming, attention to detail, and a professional, positive attitude. Confidentiality, integrity, and flexibility are key, along with upholding our cultural values and brand standards in everything you do. Qualifications A people person with a bright, outgoing personality—experience isn’t essential; your passion for people is what matters most. Someone who thrives in a diverse environment, able to confidently interact with guests from all walks of life, even if English isn't their first language. Committed to delivering 5-star service, going the extra mile to make every guest feel like they belong. While experience in a Reception/Front Office role, or experience in Hotels or hospitality is preferred, we value personality, commitment and a positive attitude above all.
