Description

Job Summary Placement of parts on weld fixtures for machine to weld. Remove parts and place in finished goods container. Make QC checks as documented by quality. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Must be hand/eye coordinated * Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions * Must be able to load and unload weld fixture * Must be able or take appropriate training to check parts on gage fixturing according to Quality Inspection Reports * Must be able to do visual inspections of parts as they come off the weld machine and pack into finish goods container * Must work well in a team environment Required Experience * Complete orientation instructions * On the job training per for assigned assets Required Safety Equipment * Knit gloves, protective sleeves, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes Educational skills required * High school diploma or GED preferred Training required * On the job * Any specific training identified by management * Specific to assigned weld asset Physical Job Requirements – ALL jobs * Must be able to sit, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl * Must be able to lift 40 lbs on a consistent basis * Must be able to work overtime as needed, 10 hour or 12 hour shifts * Must be able to stand 10-12 hours daily. * Must have physical dexterity

Responsibilities

The primary role involves placing parts onto weld fixtures for machine welding, removing the welded parts, and placing them into finished goods containers. The operator must also perform quality control checks as documented by the quality department.
