SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (occasional overtime before/after hours or Saturday)2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. (training on 1st shift required; occasional Friday overtime)

    We are currently seeking Experienced Welders to join our team on 1st and 2nd shift.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Welder at SMT, you will layout, fit, and weld metal components to specifications to create sub-assemblies and final products. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, work independently, and maintain high quality and safety standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficient in reading complex blueprints and performing detailed math calculations.
  • Strong knowledge of welding and grinding tools, including calipers and micrometers.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must pass a respiratory medical evaluation, respirator training, and fit test before first day.
