  Monday-Thursday (04:00AM to 02:00PM)  Summary: EK is looking for a full-time Welder ready to work hard and build their welding experience with our team. We are looking for a new Welder that can weld on a wide variety of metals and alloys, navigate blueprints and directions successfully, and who is ready to take their welding skills to the next level. Essential Responsibilities:  * Successfully read and understand blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols to meet or exceed client expectations. * Using GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weld weldments, tanks, and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet. * Performing welding on a wide variety of metals and alloys, including carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. * Hand layouts of weldments with little to no supervision or assistance. * Using fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications. * Assist with creating work instructions. * Completing the first piece, in process, and final inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures. * Pressure testing fuel tanks and hydro testing glycol tanks. * Analyzing weld processes and recommending process improvements. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 1–2-year Technical Welding Degree and 1 to 2 years of experience in related welding industry (GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW) preferred, or 3 to 5 years of experience in related welding industry (GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW) MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Responsibilities
The welder is responsible for fabricating weldments, tanks, and metal parts using various welding processes according to blueprints and specifications. Duties include performing quality inspections using precision tools and conducting pressure and hydro testing on tanks.
