Description
Operate welding unit, perform minor adjustments, and weld both aluminum and steel Perform simple repetitive tasks and assembly of parts and components Use bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devices Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or engineering drawings Remove excess weld, slag, spatter, and rough spots from workpieces using grinders, brushes, chisels, or scrapers Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to: Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents Minimum of 1 year welding experience in a manufacturing environment (MIG/TIG) Experience adjusting and troubleshoot welding equipment Ability to identify defects and measure workpiece to ensure conformance No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Previous experience with manufacturing fabrication Ability to weld aluminum and steel Experience with high volume, fast paced welding Ability to read engineering drawings
