QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational or technical training in welding is highly preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years’ proven experience as a TIG & Arc Welder in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and high-pressure line welding.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
  • Thorough understanding of metallurgy, welding electrodes, and material compatibility.
  • Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Excellent safety awareness and adherence to workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG and Arc welding with precision and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Apply a minimum of 10 years’ proven welding experience in the construction industry.
  • Work extensively on hydraulic lines and high-pressure piping systems.
  • Inspect and test welds and equipment for durability, safety, and compliance with design requirements.
  • Identify and report any defects, malfunctions, or quality issues promptly.
  • Set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Select appropriate welding electrodes and techniques based on metallurgy and material properties.
  • Ensure all welding activities comply with AWS (American Welding Society) standards and other relevant codes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
  • Demonstrate positive safety behaviors and cooperate fully with supervisors and safety officers.
