Job Summary: The welder fabricates, assembles, and welds metal/steel components. Inspect welds to ensure quality standards are met. Support a Team approach and complete other duties as assigned.   Essential Responsibilities   * Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. * Setting and/or adjusting settings of welding equipment. * Align components using tape measure and screws them in place. * Weld components using welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead). * Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws. * Inspect welds for accuracy. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. * Use of power hand tools. * Other duties as assigned.   Qualifications   * +1 year of welding equipment knowledge and experience is preferred.  * Able to read a measuring tape. * Able to read and write.   Safety Requirements * Cut resistant gloves. * Safety glasses. * Welding Shield. * Steel toe boots. * Welding jacket.   Environment * Non-Climate Control. * Fast-paced environment.           Physical Requirements   Activity Percentage Standing / Walking 100% Lifting of up to 50 lbs. 25 - 50% Bending and Squatting 25 - 50% Using both hands, fingers, arms, and shoulders     in repetitive movements. 75 – 100%  Reach out up to 6 feet tall 75 - 100% Color sighted 100%     ACERO is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
