Description The Aluminum Shop Technician is responsible for assisting in the construction of aluminum boat hulls and related components in a boat manufacturing facility. This individual will help ensure efficient production of high-quality aluminum boats. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting in the construction of aluminum boat hulls and related components according to production schedules and quality standards - Ensuring all safety protocols are followed - Creating requisitions for materials and supplies needed for production - Supporting quality control inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications - Assisting in implementing and maintaining efficient production processes to ensure timely delivery of products - Communicating with other departments to coordinate production workflows - Troubleshooting any production issues that arise and implementing solutions - Assisting in work scheduling to help meet production goals. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess AWS Aluminum welding certification and have experience in aluminum boat construction. Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of production processes are essential. The candidate should also demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
