TCW Equipment is a small company that specializes in equipment and supplies for wineries, breweries, and distilleries. We are an established manufacturer of winery, distillery and brewery equipment with a very diverse set of products. We repair equipment, design it, invent it, and work with our customers to make their ideas a reality. Required Experience:

  • Advanced Tig Welding Skills and Experience
  • Some experience with a manual lathe and/or mill
  • Knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, properties of metals and plastics, layouts, welding, and machining procedure
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to colleagues, customers, and suppliers
  • Safety mindset

Desired Experience:

  • Basic electrical and electronic skills
  • Knowledge of the products and processes in the wine, beer, or distillery industry
  • Trade-related education

Duties:

  • Weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum as required for fabrication.
  • Operate a variety of shop machinery to fabricate parts and assemblies, including lathes, mills, band saws, sanders, presses, drill presses, grinders, soldering irons, acetylene cutters and welders, inert arc welders, and conventional arc welders.
  • Repair equipment
  • Troubleshoot returned equipment to determine cause of failure
  • Review material needs and stock levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure sufficient material quantities are on-hand to meet future needs.
  • Contribute to maintaining clean shop equipment. Assist in overall warehouse organization and cleanliness.
  • Prepare sketches and drawings to improve and modify equipment designs and assembly methods.

By virtue of being a small company, we are looking for someone who is comfortable with occasional support in other areas. This means providing support/backup to coworkers such as occasional help with assembly or take down at tradeshows, unloading freight trucks, banding hoses, customer deliveries, etc.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn what they don’t know and comfortable in sharing what they do, they will be a go-getter, quick on their feet, great attitude, be a detailed welder, and be a good fit with our team.
