REQUIREMENTS

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Knowledge of fabrication principles and equipment
• Experience with welding processes: SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW
• CWB and Department of Labour certifications (considered an asset)
• Experience using trades hand tools, oxy-fuel, and plasma cutting equipment
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

What to Expect on the Job

• Working in an indoor industrial environment with the occasional outdoor
• Occasional work at heights
• Bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of daily tasks
• Lifting materials up to 50 lbs occasionally
