Position: Welder
Reports to: Weld Team Leader
Role Overview: Based at our Lurgan site, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products are produced to the highest standards, meeting the required safety and quality standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Operating equipment in line with Health & Safety procedures and ensuring that it is adhered to at all times.
  • Responsible for carrying out all types of MIG welding to high standards using engineering drawings and jig arrangements.
  • Working as part of a team and/or individually in a busy manufacturing environment ensuring that product is manufactured to the expected the standard.
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
  • Maintaining quality control throughout all areas of production

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

  • Proven experience as welder
  • Experience in using electrical or manual tools for example saws, squares, calipers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing.
  • Deftness and attention to detail
Responsibilities

Support of all operations related activities as required particularly during periods of unplanned absence, holidays, and high workloads.
