Now Hiring a Welder to join our successful team of construction professionals! Our Welders perform a variety of tasks related to structural iron work. Field Welders perform welding and other welding related tasks on job sites throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs. Shop Welders work in our Ramsey, MN shop and fabricate various steel products.
We offer a diverse workload, steady hours year-round, competitive pay, and benefits. Our scope of work is vast, with projects varying in size and complexity, so each day is unique! Our typical shift is 7 - 3:30 or 6 - 2:30, depending on job specific requirements, demands, and preferences.

What we’re looking for:

• Knowledge of welding practices as they pertain to structural work
• Knowledge of layout as it pertains to railings, stairwells, and catwalks in a commercial and industrial setting
• Knowledge of structural work as it pertains to steel beams and connectors
• 7018 electrodes stick welding
• Oxygen acetylene torching
• Grinding
• Aerial lift / harness work
• Structural Framing
• 3g and 4g Welding certification
• Formal training/education/certification
• 6+ months stick welding
• Comfortable working overhead, in harnesses and on lifts
• Ability to read tape-measure and blueprints
• Ability to measure and cut precisely
• Welding Certifications Preferred

What you’ll do:

• Stick and/or MIG weld as it pertains to our scope of work
• Fabricate steel as it pertains to structural work
• Read blueprints and layout per plans and coding
• Report to shop or jobsites throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs as required and as scheduled
• Safely operate all tools and equipment
• Follow all safety protocol and PPE requirements
• Work in harnesses and on lifts per safety standards and guidelines
• Work in harsh conditions such as precipitation and extreme temperatures
