As a Welder in our organization, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques. Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques to join metal components and structures Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project specifications Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate tools and materials for each job Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Identify and report any issues or potential improvements in the welding process Assist in training junior welders and apprentices as needed Qualifications Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Welder in industrial settings Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately Strong knowledge of welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in welding operations Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks for extended periods High school diploma or equivalent Valid welding certification (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties Understanding of quality control standards in welding Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Willingness to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings Additional Information Must have a valid Family book
