JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and experience in construction and welding grease duct. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. The Welder will be responsible for welding 16 gauge black iron grease duct, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in welding within construction or manufacturing settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes.
• Experience with ductwork assembly and pipe threading is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material requirements.
• Knowledge of machining processes and soldering techniques is advantageous.

  Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In perso

• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components according to design requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections of welds.
• Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials around the worksite.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout the fabrication process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
