We are seeking a motivated individual to fill a long-term, full time position in the welding/fabrication industry. We encourage you to pursue your welding Apprenticeship with us.
Majority of work is performed in the shop with an occasional need for out of town and overnight jobs.
Work in a casual, but safety oriented environment, and enjoy long-term job stability in the scale/weighing industry.

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour

DAILY DUTIES INCLUDE:

-Welding/fitting using FCAW process
-oxy-acetylene torch cutting
-using equipment such as band saws, drills, angle grinders
-heavy lifting of steel components
-operation of overhead cranes
-reading, interpreting and understanding blueprints
-following verbal instructions, asking questions and communicating with supervisor as required to complete the task efficiently and without mistakes.

OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE:

-rigging/swamping for mobile cranes in the yard in all weather conditions
-operating forklift
-occasional need for out of town welding using SMAW process
-general labour/ maintenance as needed for building and equipment upkeep.
