Description Core Industrial Maintenance is looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our talented team of skilled tradespeople. We are looking for someone that understands multiple different types of welding techniques and proper applications of those skills in an industrial setting. This position will require the Welder/Fabricator to work in a variety of environments and frequent travel to customer sites. - Perform welding and soldering tasks to join metal components together - Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding specifications - Assemble and fabricate metal structures using various welding techniques - Use rigging equipment and cranes to position and secure large metal pieces - Perform pipe threading and welding for plumbing and construction projects - Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure quality and accuracy - Operate machinery and tools for cutting, grinding, and machining metal - Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements Requirements - High School Diploma or Equivalent - Minimum of 3 years Welding experience in an industrial setting - Knowledge of industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures
Responsibilities
