Position: Welder-FabricatorLocation: Brampton,
Job Type: Permanent, Full-timeTime :8am to 5pm
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour ( depending on skill level )

One of our clients is looking for a Welder-Fabricator . The candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel structures, including platforms, handrails, flange pipes, monopole collars, roof mounts, ballast mounts, and more. Using your knowledge of MCAW welding processes and steel fabrication machinery, you will contribute to the production of high-quality steel products for cell phone companies. Responsibilities

  • Perform MCAW welding of structural steel.
  • Use an angle grinder to clean weld deposits on steel members.
  • Cut, punch, drill, grind, and clean steel parts to specifications.
  • Fabricate and fit steel parts according to drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing assemblies (e.g., steel beams, columns, stairs, and railings).
  • Verify dimensions, measure, mark, and plan operations to ensure accuracy and proper fit.
  • Perform final touch-ups using steel wool.
  • Support other warehouse activities as needed.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of welding or fabrication experience (preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment.
  • Physically capable of lifting 25–50 lbs.
