JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and processes to create high-quality products for our manufacturing operations. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets safety standards and quality expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing roles
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery and tools effectively
  • Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, stainless welding, plasma cutting, and using a press brake machine
  • Knowledgeable with reading blueprints including geometric tolerancing, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments
  • Knowledge of transitions and rolling of developed shape construction is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks
  • Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality in the final product
  • Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials and finished products within the facility
  • Conduct rigging tasks as necessary to support fabrication processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes
