Description

We are seeking Welder/Fabricators for our 1st and 2nd shift operations in Kentwood, MI. If you have at least three (3+) years of experience welding and fabricating custom equipment then you are asked to apply to this position. This is a full-time opportunity which allows you to work with experienced, proven fabricators to advance your career and continue to develop your skillset.

2ND SHIFT HOURS ARE 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM MONDAY - THURSDAYS

Primary responsibilities:

  • Reading and understanding blueprints/weld prints.
  • Fabricating parts and utilizing fabrication equipment including shears, saws, brake press, etc.
  • Welding materials within tolerances and as specified on drawings.
  • Performing quality control functions on welds.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • MIG and TIG welding experience required.
  • Three (3+) or more years of welding experience required.
  • The ability to read and understand prints required.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with both hand and power tools.
  • Attention to detail.
