OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with a focus on quality and precision. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for fabricating metal components, performing welding tasks, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in welding (MIG, TIG) and fabrication processes.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery such as cranes, press brake machines, and plasma cutters.
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques and safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various machinery including press brake machines, plasma cutters, and forklifts.
  • Perform rigging tasks as needed for lifting heavy materials using cranes.
  • Conduct machining operations and utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
  • Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards through inspection using calipers and other measuring devices.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines in the manufacturing environment.
