JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG and SMAW welding. The Fabricator/Welder will work on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG welding experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe operation of cranes and forklifts.
• Experience with ductwork fabrication is advantageous.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
• Competence in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
• Perform MIG and SMAW welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete projects accurately.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for fabrication tasks.
• Conduct rigging operations safely when moving heavy materials or components.
• Operate forklifts and cranes as needed for material handling.
• Execute plasma cutting / torch cutting for shaping metal parts as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
