JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components based on blueprints, drawings, and specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret technical documents, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a shop or field setting.
  • Proficiency in welding processes .
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements and tolerances.
  • Familiarity with metal types (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project specifications.
  • Cut, shape, and weld metal components
  • Operate fabrication machinery including (shears, press brakes).
  • Perform layout, fitting, and tacking of metal parts prior to welding.
  • Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure structural soundness and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair welds and fabrication defects as needed.
