QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Welder Fitter.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fitting and welding techniques.
• Proficiency in welding methods (MIG, Stick, FCAW).
• Ability to read and interpret structural/fabrication drawings.
• CWB certification (or equivalent) is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on the night shift.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricatorwith 3+ years of experience in fitting and welding structural steel components such as beams, columns, and frames. This is a night shift position, ideal for candidates who are comfortable working independently during overnight hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
• Lay out, fit, and assemble structural steel members (beams, columns, frames).
• Perform tack welding and welding using MIG, Stick, or Flux-core methods.
• Verify dimensions, alignment, and fit-up to meet specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as torches, grinders, drills, and saws.
• Maintain weld quality and adhere to safety standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure project accuracy.
