At Robinson Distribution we are recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our busy workshop based in Portnahinch, Portarlington, Co Laois. R32 CD40.
At Robinson we specialise in the production of HGV trailers, cranes, tippers and bodies. Established in Portarlington, Ireland in 2003. Robinson is an ambitious family owned and managed business with a long and proud history of transport, Agri-products and forest machinery.
All our trailers and cranes are designed by our team of experienced engineers.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
· Perform all types of MIG welds.
· Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
· Qualified to QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate – Craft Welder.
· Knowledge of mechanical process plant and associated maintenance activities in the distribution industry is desirable but not essential.
· The use of overhead crane, forklift, all hand tools, air tools, electric tools are part of the role.
· Ability to problem solve, be observant to CAD, attention to detail in reading drawings and templates to correctly lay out pieces.
· Meet production targets while maximising efficiency.
· Ensure Health and Safety is always adhered to.
· Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
