We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our Kress Workshop at Runtech Ltd. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role, carrying out welding and fabrication work on a range of specialist industrial equipment and heavy mobile plant. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team in a world-renowned steel manufacturing facility.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in an industrial setting.
• Proficient in various welding techniques and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A welding certification.
• This role is physically demanding as you will be involved in heavy equipment, fabrication & welding.

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks on heavy plant.
• Perform: MIG & stick welding, arc air gouging, grinding/burning, basic visual inspection, control of welding consumables.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals efficiently.
