Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed Perform basic housekeeping to keep work area clean and safe Perform duties assigned Experience Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 3 + years of welding heavy steel Welding Certification from a Vocational School or College 5 + years experience as a Mig welder 3 + years of overhead crane/rigging experience required High School Diploma or GED Forklift experience preferred but not required Must have excellent attendance
Responsibilities
The welder/fabricator will analyze drawings and specifications to plan welding operations and inspect welds for accuracy and quality. They are also responsible for detailing structural steel and continuously improving processes for efficiency.
