JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products as we strive to meet industry standards and customer expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in construction site environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick) with a strong understanding of welding principles.
  • Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes.
  • Experience with ductwork manufacturing and assembly is a plus.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material take-offs.
  • Knowledge of machining processes and soldering techniques is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines consistently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to execute precise fabrication work.
  • Conduct assembly of components according to specifications while ensuring quality control throughout the process.
  • Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move materials and finished products within the facility.
  • Execute rigging tasks for heavy components while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements during fabrication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
