JOB OVERVIEW

Ideal candidates will have experience in various welding techniques and the ability to fabricate and build components according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 4-5 years proven work experience as a MIG Welder, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes.
• Experience in building metal structures is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices in the workplace.
  A valid CWB ticket is required.
  Candidates must have their own transportation; steel-toed safety boots mandatory – all other PPE (helmet, gloves) will be supplied on-site. There will be no weld testing conducted. Suitable candidates will be assigned to start work immediately – same day or next day.

• Fabricate metal components using various welding techniques.
• Operate and maintain various power tools and machinery.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers to ensure accuracy in dimensions and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
