German VETTER Industrie GmbH is a worldwide leading fork manufacturer for the Forklift, Construction and Attachments industry.
Our subsidiary in the U.S., VETTER FORKS, INC., located in Chambersburg/PA is focused on sales, distribution and production and is seeking a motivated Welder with a proven record.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School or GED equivalent
• Ability to interpret blue prints (metric)
• MIG Welding experience
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices
• Basic math skills
• Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings
• Forklift driving license

• Perform welding operations according to blue prints
• Welding and cutting forks and other components for forklifts to the drawings and production voucher specifications using the correct materials and to the appropriate welding procedures
• Inspect welded assemblies produced to insure tolerances; maintaining high quality results; also completing the appropriate quality documentation and production voucher information
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Maintain/produce a level of output that will minimize production delays
• Communicate effectively with other workers to direct personal workflow
