The Welder/Metal Fabricator will perform MIG and TIG welding, oxyfuel cutting, and brazing. Flexible schedules available. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform welding and fabrication of all metals using the TIG process; welding of steel, stainless steel and aluminum with MIG process; cutting, heating, and brazing with oxyfuel. Use drawings, specs and verbal instructions to determine the best processes and procedures to ensure maximum value for work performed. Read and interpret blueprints and work from verbal instructions Operate saw, drill press, and other small tools Assemble welded components Perform miscellaneous shop duties- maintaining equipment, painting, clean up, loading, etc. Communicate and interact professionally with customers and other team members QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required 3+ years experience preferred Good mechanical aptitude Able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and move heavier objects with proper equipment ISC/Weimer offers a generous compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K with match and a lucrative PROFIT SHARING program, as well as a host of voluntary benefits.
