We work in a safe, positive, and engaging environment, and believe our employees are the fuel that drives our business. ACI Building Systems, LLC. is seeking a Welder-Fitter to join our growing team. The Welder-Fitter assists in the fabrication of steel frames and building components. Ability to MIG weld and fit are a plus. Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To: · scrapers, 7” grinders, welding hood and gouger for tools used · Safely perform skilled welding in the fabrication of steel frames and building components · Maintain proper housekeeping of assigned work area · Must always have a high awareness for safety · Any other duties assigned · Must train on company policies and procedures · Must follow welding procedures Preferred Qualifications & Experience: · Familiar/fluent in MIG processes · Previous experience with plasma torches & oxy acetylene cutting a plus · Welding certifications beneficial but not required Requirements: · Ability to lift 50lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time · Must wear proper safety equipment · Ability to read a tape measure · Knowledge of basic math (add, subtract, multiply & divide fractions)
Responsibilities
The Welder-Fitter will assist in the fabrication of steel frames and building components, which includes safely performing skilled welding tasks. Responsibilities also involve maintaining proper housekeeping of the assigned work area and adhering to all safety awareness protocols.
