Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fitter/Fabricator for our client in Newmarket, ON. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MIG and TIG welding, with a strong background in fitting and fabricating. Prior experience working on the welding and fabrication of vocational vehicles (e.g., trucks, utility vehicles, trailers) is a significant asset.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in MIG and TIG welding.
- Strong skills in fitting, fabricating, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Prior experience in welding and fabrication for vocational vehicles is an asset.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other related equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Welding certifications (CWB or equivalent) are an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals, including aluminum and steel.
- Fit and fabricate parts based on technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Inspect and measure materials to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Work on the welding and fabrication of vocational vehicles, including custom modifications and repairs.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

- Perform quality checks on finished products to meet customer requirements.
