JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in manufacturing and construction environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in welding, fitting, or a related manufacturing field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools and machinery.
• Familiarity with ductwork installation and construction practices is a plus.
• Ability to operate cranes safely for lifting heavy materials.
• Proficient in using calipers for precise measurements.
• Knowledge of assembly processes and techniques related to manufacturing environments.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and forklifts for fabrication tasks.
• Assemble components accurately while adhering to safety protocols and quality assurance processes.
• Conduct rigging operations as necessary for lifting heavy materials or components.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively within deadlines.
• Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
