Description QuikCut, LLC is seeking experienced Welder/Fitters for our Columbia City location. The position is a skilled, hands-on role responsible for fitting, welding, and assembling metal components in accordance with detailed blueprints and project specifications. This position requires precision craftsmanship, strong blueprint reading skill, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Perform welding operations using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.). Fit and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter in a similar role. Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and quality. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
