Description

Skillforce is hiring experienced pipe welder/fitters for an industrial maintenance project in West Memphis, AR and Memphis area. As a pipe welder/fitter you will be responsible for pipe fabrication, welding, and installation work within active process facilities. Pay is up to $35 per hour based on skill set and experience. Pipe Welder/Fitter Responsibilities: * Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless and carbon steel pipe (½”–12” diameter), including Schedule 10/40, Schedule 80, and sanitary tube work. * Fit, align, and fully fabricate piping systems using blueprints, layout direction, and precise measurement tools. * Support installation and repair projects, including corrosion-resistant and thermoplastic/FRP systems as needed. * Work collaboratively on general contracting and routine industrial maintenance tasks. * Follow all OSHA safety regulations and uphold company safety standards. Pipe Welder/Fitter Requirements: * 3+ years of industrial pipe welding and fitting experience (chemical or manufacturing environment preferred). * MIG/TIG welding certifications (6G preferred; must pass a weld 6G test). * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings. * Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor/industrial environments. * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. * Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods. * Must be able to pass a drug screen. Responsibilities
