DESCRIPTION:

• Experienced Welding/Fabrication and Fitting skills in steel
• Experienced Welding in stainless steel and aluminum would be asset
• Oversee welding-related standards and specifications
• Provide technical direction to welders responsible for all facets of welding
• Supervise all aspects of plant operations
• Quality control of all final assembled products
• Ability to troubleshoot and be innovative in solving problems
• Schedule all production activities
• Production of heavy structural steel beams and columns
• Read specification and blueprints
• Co-ordination installation of new equipment and training

EDUCATION:

• Certified Welding Supervisor CWB W.47.1
• Certified Welding Supervisor CWB W.47.2
• GTAW, SAW, Aluminum, application knowledge.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret materials such as blueprints, job drawingspecifications, job task plans and manuals
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to welding operations
• Candidate should be able to work individually and in teams, be self-motivated, well organized,and able to prioritize work
