We are seeking a skilled Welder to support the fabrication and assembly of aluminum components for our world-class offshore fishing catamarans. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in precision, quality, and exceptional workmanship. Responsibilities Perform TIG/GTAW welding and fabrication on aluminum parts and structures. Operate bending, cutting, and sanding equipment, including band saws, benders, and sanders. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications. Inspect and verify welds to meet Freeman Boatworks’ quality and safety standards. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG). Experience working with anodized aluminum pipe preferred. Prior marine welding or fabrication experience strongly preferred. Proficiency with standard hand and power tools. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
